Access 2003 Notes

By default, Microsoft Access 2003, is installed with a high level of security that can interfere with the execution of code in many Access Applications. To ensure that the InstantSalesTracker runs smoothly with Access 2003 please follow the steps below:

  1. Patch and update both your Windows and Microsoft Office installations. Updates are available at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com. In particular, make sure that you install "Update for Jet 4.0 Service Pack 8".
  2. Restart your PC after installing the updates.
  3. Open Microsoft Access.
  4. Click Tools, then Macros, then Security. Set the security level to "LOW".
  5. Close Microsoft Access.
You should now be able to run InstantSalesTracker normally.
